We have updated the Auk and Newcastle plates to include a hammered finish to one side of the plate while maintaining the traditional finish on the other side. With this update you will be able to craft a set of armor that has the new hammered finish appearance, or you can use the other side of the plate to patch up an older suit that you already own with the traditional finish. The new hammered finish plates are available for order now at the regular price while the older style plates of Auk and Newcastle will remain on sale until we have exhausted our inventory.
